We are different from the rest of the pack. I know you care about your dogs as much as I care about mine.
Our dogs depend on us. We're all they have. If you
depend on me (and Biscuit Doggie) to provide you with honest, non-AI
content... based on on what we've taught ourselves over the years...
You'll get what you came here for. That's a promise!
My Biscuit Doggie knows how important exercise is. She's ready to play fetch with me!...
I'm sorry I haven't been around for a while during Sptember - October 2025. I love this place and always look forward to being here.
Nimble Doggie passed away so it's been
really rough...
...coming here to work on our Website
with sooo many memories and reminders. I took the time to
collect my thoughts.
So many moments together... so many wonderful memories...

...like this cold winter day at our favorite Oregon beach, following a rigorous sand dune climb.
Exercising, eating our wonderful healthy meals together, and so much more. Nimble is a big part of our Website.
She helped me to convey important information to you through her pictures, treat testing, and other activities. She'll always be around, just as if she was right here next to me :-)
I'm back now but I guess it'll always be tough... I also still miss Gidget Doggie who passed away 16 years ago.
It's all part of having a furry companion and I know I'm not the only one on this planet who goes through this.
It's just that we were always together... I never left her behind... Just like Gidget. I believe that makes it really hard.
I adopted a new little Poodle mix companion and his name is Biscuit. What a character!
Here's my little boy Biscuit Doggie... our Website Mascot...
Happy Adoption Day Biscuit Doggie!... participating in our Website along with Gidget and Nimble.
I've had 2 girls and now a boy.
He's really something... completely different personality-wise than my other two little girls... and a challenge!
P.S... There are millions of dogs that also need a good home like Biscuit... loaded with love, nutritious healthy dog food... and more. Here's how we feel about this.
Nimble and Gidget are gone now, but not really. They'll always be around here... sharing their thoughts, photos and other things that will help your furry pal live a long, healthy, disease-free life....
...right along with Biscuit. I'm sure they approve of him!
Biscuit and I are going to have a good life together and I'm looking forward to sharing all of our experiences (Gidget, Nimble and now Biscuit) with you!
Many of our images, especially the ones on some of our first Pages we built... may not be perfect. I'm going back through these "older" Pages and optimizing them. However, at times, there is only so much I can do.
Many of these pictures are from a once-in-a-lifetime, rare moment in time. I cherish these and they also help to convey an important point while...
...reassuring you that we are not a big corporation... just an informational Website taking pride in sharing our experiences...
...while helping your dog live a long, happy, disease-free life :-)
Quite a few years ago, we've decided no more holding back...
We've been up front with you. However, at times I've felt like we're stepping on someone's toes while writing new articles.
For example... we didn't want you to feel that we think all conventional dog doctors are unreliable. So we held back (at times) up to a point (there's some really good non-holistic veterinarians out there)...
...like Nimble's doctor who we fully trust (Nimble's showing you she knows how to clean dog teeth)!...
My dog's teeth are pearly white because she doesn't eat processed dog food. "Look Doc, no cavaties...arf!"Here's another instance... in the past we've told you what dog food
ingredients and other elements to avoid that are harmful to your canine.
Know what? Now we'll do better than that...
Nimble and I will tell you which products to stay far, far away from!
If you don't want to hear the truth... then our Site is not for you. If it is... great! Furthermore...
You might also think about joining our News Flash Bulletin Community as well...
Just mimic what dogs eat in the wild. This is called the prey animal theory. “It just can't be that simple!” you say. Yes, feeding your pooch homemade raw, healthy dog vittles is easy...
...when it comes to figuring out what, how much, how often, etc.
It's the shopping, preparing, serving, and storage part that takes time and patience.
Nimble wishes she would have gotten here a little earlier!...
We discovered these bones during our morning workout
We discovered these bones during our morning workoutFrom examining wild dog poop to letting my doggy scarf down an abandoned coyote kill, we've been there (and done that). Nimble and I are excited about sharing our experiences with you!
Throughout our site, we'll refer to the prey animal theory. Nimble and I can't think of a better example for illustrating a healthy dog food diet!
This keeps everything in perspective and makes feeding your canine easy and simple... the way nature does.
Which brings us to this...
If you practice moderation and variety... you'll never over-dose on too much of a good thing. And... keeping it simple will encourage you to continue this healthy way of raw feeding your dogs.
Get rid of all those charts (except our food combining chart!). Quit counting calories, etc. Your dog will store what she needs (like a bank) and pass on anything she has too much of (just like us).
We're
not going to spend hours analyzing all the wonderful nutrients provided
by feeding raw dog food. You can easily find this information
online... we'll provide links to reputable sources.
Instead... we'll spend our time convincing you to feed a good variety of healthy dog food and treats (and other related things)...
...when serving your furry pal her chow. This all natural dog food will certainly give your doggy all the nutrition she needs.
The commercial processed dog food and treat industry wants us to think this is really complicated...
...so you'll just buy their junk instead. This is a lot easier (it's not all junk... some companies make an effort to ensure their processed dog food is as healthy as possible).
Nimble and Biscuit will hang around if you need them. They'll share a tip every time you see this box :-)
Gidget Doggie is around as well but... I didn't have a computer back then to store her pictures so I could upload them here. I've got bunches of pictures from my "old-fashioned" camera... I'll see what I can do.
Biscuit and I just finished a steep hike. "Take your dog out and exercise, really exercise... arf!"...
"Hey... the more I read, the more I'm convinced that a lot of this stuff applies to you humans as well!" Absolutely Nimble!
This is just one example of how Biscuit and I aren't afraid to speak our minds... we tend to "go against the grain." You won't see us advertising tons of safe, healthy, doggy food, treat (and all things related) products...
Why? They're harder to find! Nimble and I can't wait to start sharing our (and those of whom we trust) homemade doggy goods with you!
Now... ready to take a break before you read on? How about a good laugh? Nimble would love it if you'd click here!
These contain tips directly from me (my dogs aren't allowed to comment here)... ha!
"We don't mind... this gives us time to play together" :-)
Scott and his Pack.
I read tons of books over the years about all natural dog food. One of the first and best was a little book written by Kymythy Schultze. It's called Natural Nutrition for Dogs and Cats (we're not promoting here).
She talked about our prey animal theory. I also include
vegetables, nuts, seeds, and fruit for my dogs. Don't forget those
whole dog food "supplements" (herbs, etc.) if you think they're needed.
I haven't forgotten this book since... best little healthy dog food book on this planet!
I also haven't forgotten about those veggies that I'm blending for the next few days (vacuum sealed of course!)...
I picked some wild greens and dandelion roots I'll add, not shown in this photoI brought home my first little doggy Gidget quite a few years ago. Bad teeth, runny eyes, body odor, runny poop, fleas and much more. Poor little girl!
I slowly introduced raw, all natural dog food including:
My little canine slowly became the picture of dog health!
If you're looking for a quick fix pill you're in the wrong place. But chances are, you know our Website is about really healthy dog food and treats. I mean really healthy like these...
...wild dandelion roots and greens Biscuit Doggie and I just harvested for our veggie puree (plants are a small part of my dog's diet)...
Leave a little dirt... don't wash it off!
