Biscuit's (& Scott's) Tip of the Week
Five Minute
Oatmeal Treats!
- 1 cup of organic, whole, rolled oats
- Organic raisins
-
½ tsp of
organic cinnamon
-
Place the
oats in a glass bowl with a lid
-
Sprinkle a
few raisins over the top until the oats are partially covered
- Add the cinnamon
- Add your pure water and stir... there should be a little extra water covering the mixture when it's all stirred up
The oats will eventually absorb all of the water. Let it sit for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge. The longer it sets, the sweeter it will get!
It'll keep for a week (then start to turn sour). I eat most of this delicacy since I just feed my dog a little here and there. I eat the raisins but remove them from my dog's portion.
It's amazing how tasty and sweet this doggy and human treat will get! I discovered this oatmeal recipe accidentally :-)
