I could list the ingredients along with the benefits but... This Newsletter would become too lengthy. I can tell you, however, that organic, grass fed animals (wild fish and some wild/organic plants) are the healthiest, most complete diet for your dog on this planet. She'll eat every nutrient needed for excellent overall dog health. Period. Sounds too simple, right? It is. The dog food industry wants us to think it's complicated... convincing you it's much easier to just buy their unsafe, unhealthy dog food.
Ingredients (organic)Any muscle meat and organ meat including bones. That's it. Optional additives (about 10-20%): Fruit. Veggies. Nuts. Seeds. Supplements (be careful when it comes to supplements for dogs). Preparing Your Dog's Food or TreatGrind meat and bones. Your grinder won't handle bones? Don't include them (for now). Puree fruit or veggies. Grind nuts and seeds (I use a coffee grinder). Mix ingredients with supplements or other healthy “additives.” Form into meatballs and freeze. Serving Your Homemade Dog TreatsOne at a time or pile 'em up for a whole meal. If they seem kind of big, just chop into smaller pieces. Also use for a dog training treat! Storing Your Dog's Tasty Dog Treat TreasuresFreeze. I like to vacuum-seal in jars but my dog usually goes through them before they'll have a chance to freezer-burn! The Perfect Homemade Nutritious Doggy Treat!I've found that there's times my dog isn't really crazy for the food I've prepared for the week. No problem... grind it up into meatballs and freeze. Something about the process... she'll eat them! These easy homemade dog treats have no downside... feeding them to your companion assures that he'll live a long, happy disease-free (and vet-free) life!
